About the Journal

Advances in Health and Exercise (Adv Health Exerc) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to health and exercise sciences. The journal publishes original research articles and systematic reviews that contribute to the scientific understanding of exercise, physical activity, and human movement in health-related contexts.

The journal primarily focuses on exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor behavior, sport and exercise psychology, physical activity and public health, sports injuries, rehabilitation sciences, and evidence-based exercise interventions related to health and performance.

The journal is published quarterly, with issues released in March, June, September, and December. Advances in Health and Exercise follows a continuous publication model, in which articles that successfully complete the peer-review and editorial process are published in the current active issue without waiting for the next scheduled issue.

Manuscripts are included in the respective issue until the closing dates of each publication period: March for Issue 1, June for Issue 2, September for Issue 3, and December for Issue 4.

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the scope of the journal.

The journal welcomes high-quality submissions from researchers worldwide.

Advances in Health and Exercise does not charge any submission or publication fees and does not carry advertising.
